St Elizabeth's is in the small village of Ashley in a lovely rural setting. The building is late Victorian and over 140 years old. It has a beautiful stained glass window and carved pews. St Elizabeth's is popular for weddings and baptisms (christenings).

The village consists of a cricket club, The Greyhound Pub, period cottages, more modern housing and surrounding farmland. The road past the church leads to Tatton Park and there is evidence in the area of the influence of the Tatton endowment. Every May the village organises a Rose Queen Fair in the grounds of the church. It is a wonderful gathering of the village and raises gratefully received funds for the church.

There are church services each Sunday morning including Family Communion, Matins, Family Service with Young Church, and Holy Communion.

The congregation is small in number but on special occasions, e.g. Harvest, Christingle, Christmas, Easter, The Rose Queen Service the church is full of children and their families. We are working to encourage these families to participate more in the life of the church.

St Elizabeth's is partnered with St Peter's in Hale, just down the road.
